Sarena & Naitik’s NYC engagement shoot is on The Bride’s Cafe today, so stop by and check it out!
He likes Mad Men-esque vintage. She likes bold, vibrant color. So we tried to meet them somewhere in the middle! We met Sarena & Naitik in DUMBO for some classic city shots, then stopped for some rooftop fun, and wrapped up the shoot with some funky backgrounds in SoHo. All in all a fabulous afternoon of photos!
So I must admit we are still pretty obsessed with this wedding, not just because of all the thoughtful details the couple put into their special day, but simply because these photos take us back to a place of total relaxation, breathtaking landscapes, an island with some of the nicest people and some damn good bananas! Needless to say, we can completely understand why these high school sweethearts chose St. Lucia for their wedding location. Roxanne and Fernando first fell in love with this dreamy oasis after attending a friend’s wedding and decided the Windjammer Landing was the perfect place for a memorable celebration with family and friends, which also just happened to fall on their 10 year anniversary! We’ve been fortunate to travel quite a bit, but after our short stay in St. Lucia we will definitely be adding it to our list of places to return to at some point. Thanks again to Roxanne & Fernando for allowing us to capture your celebration!

Whoops its been a busy month and we’ve neglected the blog a bit, sorry about that! Well, now we’re back and we’ll pick up where we left off with Part III of Anisha & Harvey’s wedding: the Sikh ceremony. We have a few more items to post this week, so stay tuned as we play catch up!
Anisha & Harvey had a Western wedding ceremony at the Morikami Museum & Japanese Tea Gardens, which is a stunning venue for an outdoor wedding. After their intimate ceremony, we had time to explore the gardens and capture some great portraits of this cute couple. We really lucked out with the beautiful weather, which isn’t always the case when shooting in February! Part III of this three-day Florida wedding will be posted very soon…
